The Reason We Are Here
Over the past three years, local artists have generously volunteered their talents to enchant us with a musical medley spanning various genres. This initiative aims to commemorate the life of Soheil Mojarrad and other victims of police violence in Raleigh and beyond.
Soheil meant so much to many people of all walks of life. Let us strive to prevent further tragedies at the hands of those entrusted to protect us.
We extend an invitation to delve deeper into the origins and significance of this event, as well as our commitment to organizing future gatherings that raise awareness and foster community unity, all while honoring Soheil’s memory through music and dance.

We will provide a more detailed map of the festival grounds and entrance/exit instructions soon.
This is a family friendly event and well behaved, leashed pets are allowed but you are responsible for them.

We are currently seeking volunteers to support the upcoming music festival. Please consider applying to join our volunteer team, where you will receive a free swag bag, t-shirt, access to kitchen and staff meals. Apply here.
RULES/FAQS
- REMEMBER: You’re the eyes and ears of the festival. If you see something suspicious, say something.
- This event is outdoors with some areas of overhead coverage. Please come prepared for any weather. This includes sun hats and sunscreen, sweaters, raincoats, and sturdy shoes.
- Please no renegade sound systems without previous approval from staff.
- No personal fires! There will be a community fire pit close to the stage.
- Please cooperate with staff, security and volunteers. They are there to help make sure that everyone has a good time.
- Photos and video are encouraged and if you do not want to be photographed or filmed, please let a staff member know. Furthermore, those taking photos and videos, please let staff know so you can be aware of those who do not wish to be filmed.
- This is a shared community so when using showers/bathrooms, please act like this is your own home. If you see something that is out of order, find your nearest staff member.
- Children must accompany a trusted adult of their personal community at all times.
- Dogs should be leashed at all times. This is to protect your dog and attendees.
- WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR HARASSMENT. PLEASE LET OUR STAFF KNOW IF YOU FEEL HARASSED OR THREATENED IN ANY WAY. NO ALWAYS MEANS NO.
Food truck (TBA)
We will have some awesome food truck on site Saturday from 12pm – 8pm for guests to enjoy!
15 Acres of land
This piece of land is truly beautiful and includes many old mill houses and such, there is lots of explore and great spots for photographers/videographers to take some great shots.
Volunteers and Vendors
We are looking for volunteers and vendors. This cannot be done without the help of so many passionate and willing individuals.
