This festival exists because of community.
It is entirely volunteer-run. Every organizer, coordinator, and supporter contributes their time and labor because they believe in creating accessible space for art, connection, and political expression.
We intentionally keep this gathering free and accessible. We believe art, political expression, and shared space should not depend on the ability to pay. At the same time, producing this event responsibly requires real resources.
Our 2026 projected operating budget is approximately $7,000, covering:
- Artist Compensation (~37%)
- Venue & Site Costs (~20%)
- Equipment & Infrastructure (~15%)
- Marketing & Media (~8%)
- Hospitality & Supplies (~8%)
- Community Raffle & Engagement (~6%)
- Miscellaneous Operational Costs (~6%)
In previous years, the festival relied heavily on private contributions. This year, we made a conscious decision to scale intentionally and build a more sustainable, community-supported model.
Our goal for 2026 is to raise $2,000 in community funding through donations and fundraising efforts. Reaching this goal would significantly reduce reliance on private subsidy and mark an important step toward long-term sustainability.
If this gathering matters to you, we invite you to help carry it forward — whether through a donation, participating in the raffle, volunteering, or spreading the word.
We are committed to transparency, responsible growth, and building something that is truly shared.
